Douglas Bartolme
Douglas Bartolme is a classically trained composer, sound designer, and music producer, specializing in cinematic hybrid scores and multi-stylistic music for video games, film, and the concert hall. He was born in Huntington Beach, CA, just south of Los Angeles county. He began his music career performing keyboards with indie rock bands around Orange County, CA. He then went on to study music theory, piano, and composition at Chapman University under the guidance of Dr. Sean Heim and Dr. Joseph Mathews. He continued his studies at New York University where he received a Master's Degree in Music Composition, for film scoring, arranging, game audio, mentored by some of the most successful composers in the industry such as Dr. Paul Chihara, Ira Newborn, and Gil Goldstein. After his stay in Gotham he returned to his California homeland, in the Los Angeles area, where he's currently seeking opportunities and collaborations.
