This music is ideal in projects related to the dawn of the 20th century, St. Louis,New Orleans, early African American music, jazz, wild west, saloon, brothel, red-light districts etc. The "Maple Leaf Rag" is an early ragtime musical composition for piano composed by Scott Joplin. It is one of the most famous of all ragtime pieces, and became the model for ragtime compositions by subsequent composers.
