Bio:

stoyan ganev received his b.m. diploma from the national conservatory of music in sofia, bulgaria in may 2003 as a jazz double bassist and bass guitarist. he further extended his studies as a unlv scholarship recipient as a jazz studies major (b.m.) with prof. tom warrington. in 2004, the film scoring department at the berklee college of music granted mr. ganev the grand scholarship aid, one of the highest honors offered at that school. he also graduated from the film scoring class of mr. johnny pate, a distinguished composer, arranger and producer. his professional experiences include several appearances on national tv in bulgarian jazz programs, a rich experience as a club musician as well as a part of numerous jazz formations (duets, trios, quartet, quintets, etc.)
