Stanislav Vdovin
Stanislav Vdovin is a musician and sound designer based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. For over a decade career hes had releases on multiple labels in Russia and abroad (Infraction, Lagunamuch Records, Thinner, Monotonik, etc) basically under the names Unit 21 and Sleepy Town Manufacture & Unit 21 in collaboration with Alexander Ananyev. Stanislav Vdovins trademark for a couple of years was microsampling of soviet vinyl records, now expanded with sounding of acoustic instruments and synthesizers. In January, 2010 Vdovin established the label Occasion, oriented to release organic forms of contemporary music.
