Bio:

hassan displays a unique musical sensitivity and ability to improvise and embellish the patterns familiar to arabic music.

he is one of the most acclaimed performers of the arabic music scene.

hassan was born in agadir, morocco, and started playing the egyptian tabla (darabouka),guitar and lute at the age of 10.

He started playing professionally when he was 19, and he accompanied the most famous arab singers and bellydancers in london.

He played at the nsw art gallery in 1998 during the oriental exhibition and on other occasions. he has accompanied several bands and singers on tours.

Including the led zeppelin (jimmy page and robert plant) world tour 1996, where he played together with some of the most outstanding flamenco dancers and musicians in sydney.

since then he has been regularly involved in so many performances all over the world.

he also regularly accompanies belly dance workshops in the uk.
