About AudioMicro

Are you a composer, publisher, songwriter, musician, independent band, sound designer, or audio engineer? Put your digital audio content up for sale with AudioMicro, simply and securely. License your original work on AudioMicro - we accept for review and potential licensing representation all content that meets our minimum quality and sample rate standards and Terms of Service.

Sell your digital audio content simply

We sell audio content under a simple general use license agreement model on behalf of our participating Artists. In a nutshell, this means all files we sell are licensed for commercial use by the end client, in applications such as motion pictures, feature films, short films, radio advertisements, PowerPoint presentations, live performances, remixes, in addition to personal use as well as any other legal use under the sun.

If you have material that our editors determine fits the scope of our platform, we will accept it and put it into our online archive. If it sells, you get 50% of the price for non-exclusive material and 60% for exclusive material.

How much will I make?

We believe it is democratic: the content that is unique, stylish, and interesting, should sell more. We encourage you to "spread the love" and upload content from all genres of music and audio whenever possible. The more diverse your archive, the more likely you are to receive increased royalties. You can monitor your downloads in realtime in your artist's account on AudioMicro, and we automatically deliver your royalties to you via PayPal on or about the first of the month, subsequent to the month in which the sales transactions occurred. In due time, we will also be able to send WorldPay transfers as well as bank transfers to those artists who live in countries where Paypal is not available. We pay you when your account has accrued an unpaid balance of $50 or more.

Copyright

Artists retain full copyright ownership of all content uploaded and licensed (sold) through AudioMicro at all times. We simply provide a platform for Artists to sell through. Content can be removed at any time upon express written request by the Artist.

We go to great lengths to ensure that all material sold on the site is 100% original and is not copyrighted to anyone else except the person offering it for sale. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any material which we believe to be copyrighted to someone other than the contributing artist at any time, and also null any and all outstanding money owed to parties who offer such material for sale illegally.

That being said, we also do care greatly about keeping your original content from being hacked, re-distributed, or otherwise used in a manner outside of that which is defined in our Terms of Service.

Benefits

Music is based on communication. We provide various means so that our Artists and Clients can communicate through AudioMicro forums, networking, and site mail and we are constantly aiming to provide additional tools as the platform develops over time.

Artist's get a free profile page where you can fill in your complete professional details, promote your business, display your bio, link to your own website, upload a profile photo, and play your entire online archive.

We also work very hard to ensure that the Artist has maximum exposure at all locations on the site, through areas such as our 'Featured Artists' spotlight area which appears on the homepage and in the My Account section of all logged in users. Your success is our success and we are always on the go to find new ways to help you get your ideas across.

The Bottom Line

We really do make an effort to assist our artists and can always be reached via email at AudioMicro[at]AudioMicro.com with questions, concerns, and bug reports.
